Dustless Blasting is a new technology drastically faster than sanding and soda blasting. By using recycled bottle glass mixed with water we are able to reduce friction thus preventing any heating up of the surface being prepped. Additionally we use a rust inhibitor during operation leaving the metal chloride free and ready for primer. Dustless blasting solves the warping problem caused by sand blasting and the paint adhesion caused by soda blasting. It's faster, cleaner and greener than any other paint stripping technology available.
The Dustless Blaster works by mixing water and abrasive inside a blast tank, by introducing water we're drastically increasing the mass and energy the machine is putting out, while eliminating dust. Imagine throwing a handful of dry sand, versus throwing a handful of wet sand; which one is going to have a more significant impact on the target? Not only will the the wet sand hit the target harder, but it won't disintegrate and become a cloud of dust like the dry sand will. This is the very simple principle behind dustless blasting.
